Membership FAQ
Q: What does membership give you?
A: You may notice that we don’t sell tickets to Keycon; we offer memberships. As a member you become part of the community. Becoming a member also helps us pay for the event space, guests, supplies, and all the other necessities of running the convention. Wearing your badge lets everyone know that you have helped contribute to making the convention a success.
Note: We reserve the right to refuse membership for any reason.
Full Weekend Membership gives you free access to all regular events over the course of the convention. This includes the extravaganzas, panels, art show, hospitality suites, dealer’s room, table top gaming area, and voting rights for the WinSFA Annual General Meeting. It starts at opening ceremonies on Friday and continues all the way through closing ceremonies on Sunday and through to the Banquet (and beyond).
Note: From time to time, some events have an extra cost associated with them (e.g., the Banquet or an excursion to an off-site event), and some panels may have materials fees or other fees.
Q: What about the other kinds of Membership Types?
A: There are several other membership types:
Babe-in-Arms Membership is like to Full Weekend. So long as they are with an adult with a valid member ship, they are welcome through most of the convention. Note: from time to time there may be some adult-only events.
Friday Membership is like to Full Weekend, except only for Friday evening events. You are welcome to take part in any programming happening on Friday evening up to the start of programming on Saturday morning.
Saturday Membership is like to Full Weekend, except only for Saturday events. You are welcome to take part in any programming happening on Saturday up to the start of programming on Sunday morning.

Sunday Banquet is one of the events that has an extra cost associated with them. Typically there is a tasty meal and some form of dinner entertainment included with it. Fees will be announced as they become available.
