Our Mission is to share our love of tabletop gaming by providing an exceptional retail experience and a welcoming place for people to share their hobbies with others through organized play. Authors of Manitoba – Authors of Manitoba is a local author’s collective. We’ll be featuring 7 members and 1 guest author from Saskatchewan. We have books for all ages in many genres!
Bear’s Den Books – John has spent over 40 years collecting and reading books, and it’s time to sell some of them. Low prices on all stock; even the collector’s items are reasonably affordable.
Black Magic Craft – Art Guest of Honour Jeremy Pillipow
Bursting With Books – Under this banner you will usually find me, the local Winnipeg author R.J. Hore, along with my wife, Barbara and her handmade Gnomes, and often another local author or two. At KeyCon this year we will again be working with author Maureen Castell.
Chasing Artwork – Chasing Artwork is a Winnipeg based illustration studio featuring the Artwork of Justin Currie. Justin Currie is an internationally recognized artist who has worked with Blizzard, Warhammer, Nickelodeon, Disney, Marvel, Netflix, and is a regular guest of comic conventions across Canada and the United States. His first creator-owned project, Cassie and Tonk, won the Manitoba Book Award for graphic novels.
Evan Quiring – Art Guest of Honour Evan Quiring
Firby Creations – Firby Creations takes inspiration for our projects from epic fantasy & steampunk genres, and a love of tabletop games. Working with wood and leather, resin and foamcraft, our goal is to make things for practical use that look as good in your home as they would in Middle Earth, Hogwarts, Westeros, Pern, or anywhere you’d find dragons and wizards, elves and dwarves.
Flights of Fay – Fay uses techniques of the past to create jewellery and keychains that will inspire you today. A combination of Kumihimo braiding, Inkle loom weaving in bold colour combinations. Plus wire wrapping using semi precious stones, hemp cord, and leather. Make a statement when wearing or using Fay’s pieces.
GMB Chomichuk – GMB Chomichuk is an award-winning writer and illustrator whose work has appeared in comics, graphic novels, books, television, theatre, role-playing games and film. Gregory will be on hand at Keycon signing and sketching a large selection of his art, books, comics games and graphic novels. He’ll also be the Narrator in evening sessions KILL THE SORCERER and THE INCIDENT AT GLOOM LAKE which you can sign up for in the dealers room.
Husky 3D – Seller of 3D printed items related to gaming, as well as artwork from Keycons of years past.
JC Wood ‘n Books – Jon & Casey are a husband and wife team who enjoy building things together. Jon handles the bulk of the construction while Casey adds artistic flair and writes the books. Bringing a variety of nerdy and witchy items including mimic dice boxes, necklaces, key-chains, key hooks, leash holders, and more! Casey writes books for children, teens, and adults in several genres. PLUS their daughter Janelle will have a selection of jewellery including wire-wrapped stones.
Koneko Arts Illustration – KonekoArts Illustration is a local Winnipeg artist who specializes in fanart for nostalgic and modern games and anime, as well as queer and cat themed goods. Items sold including postcard and letter size prints, acrylic charms, stickers, washi tape, lanyards, and pinback buttons

Machine Gal Milliner – Machine Gal Milliner creates wonderfully whimsical headpieces, hats, and masks. Each piece is hand crafted and unique. From subtle to spectacular, you’re sure to find something to enhance any outfit
MagiWear Ind – Maker and seller of curios and props.
Matt Kehler – Matt is an illustrator/graphic designer based in Winnipeg. He sells prints of his illustrations, inspired by comics, movies, video games and wildlife.
MiddleMerch – A world of bold colors, diverse styles, and a fistful of weirdness collide. Fuelled by ADHD, the collection is ever-changing and full of surprises. Jewellery is created in a wide variety and combination of alternative styles—there really is something for everyone, from goth to candycore and beyond. Odd art pieces welcome the strange to emerge in miniature scenes, fairy bottles, mossy curiosities, and forgotten fairies locked in tiny cages. Just a quirky, neurodivergent girl on the prairies who’s sworn off adulting, bringing you affordable, one-of-a-kind, weirdly wonderful creations that scream individuality. FUN doesn’t have an age limit… and in my defence, I was left
unsupervised.
Oak Bluff Arts – Oak Bluff Arts is a one-woman, Ontario based business specializing in handmade items appealing to those who love geeky, literature, and pop culture based things. Staring out as Firefly Cargo Bay in 2004, the main product line now consists of actual books in miniature, each filled with pages of quotes from their titular theme, whether that be children’s books, sci fi and fantasy, classic literature, pop culture, or famous authors. Choices here go from Winnie the Pooh to Stephen King so there’s sure to be something for almost everyone! Also on offer are unique bookmarks, mug mats, pillows, and even hair bows – plus a few surprises! Check out our selection of one of a kind items you won’t find anywhere else.
Pams Flowers of Paper – All items are made with paper, recycled materials, boxes, and/or card-stock. Most items are made by a Visually Impaired, crafty person. Items include workshops using flower kits with instructions and various flowers with paper, nesting boxes – (Guessing Game), shadow boxes, lanterns with lights, personalized cards, book nooks, and centrepieces for socials, weddings, and parties. Half of the proceeds (donations) from the Guessing Game at the booth will go to a local food bank.

Silverwynd Studios – Silverwynd Studios brings to you both Crocheted and 3D Printed items to you. We understand that both game and practice goods are necessary at times and hard to obtain for a decent price. We want to help you get them. We also do commissions.
Simply Borealis – Simply Borealis offers laser engraved and cut items like wood bookmarks, cork and slate coasters, slate serving trays, keychains, jewellery, trivets, wall decor, boxes and secret keepers, various fandom items, and general use bits and bobs.
Story Perfect Books – is a five-imprint publisher of books across many genres. They’ll be bringing sci-fi, fantasy, and horror titles to KeyCon, with a range of sub-genres including romance, queer, and YA lit.
Toad Goblin – Toad Goblin is a small buisness run by Shae (they/them), They focus on creating art/trinkets for your goblin needs! Such as lino prints, keychains, buttons, stickers, crochet companions, sculpted pins and original paintings! Toad goblin is a safe place for all, so come stop by and grab yourself a trinket!
Your Siren’s Call & Aine’s Oddities – Your Siren’s Call is the passion project of Katherine McLaren. Specializing in crystal crowns and accessories, each piece is made with a love of fantasy and magic. Started back in 2020 as a form of pandemic therapy, it has since grown into a thriving magical business. Primarily using crystals from local suppliers, Katherine strives to ensure as much of her materials are ethically and sustainably sourced.
