Keycon 2006: The Art Show
The Art Show has a new room this year (The Peregrine) and will be sharing space with the Dealers room. They are open to the general public, although only Keycon badge holders, with full memberships or Sunday passes may bid on art. The Art Show hours are as follows:
Friday May 19th 7:00pm . 11:00pm Saturday May 20th 10:00am . 6:00pm Sunday May 21st 10 am . 12:00 pm Sunday May 21st 1 p.m. Auction
Any piece of art receiving 3 bid will go to Auction, and no bids will be accepted past 3 until Auction. A Quick Sale is only good if no other bids have been placed beforehand. Rules will be available in the Artshow.
No Cameras are allowed in the artshow.
If you know of anyone who creates items that are unique and interesting in the theme of the fantastic, encourage them to enter our art show. (Please see the Art show rules and regulations if you have doubts as to suitability of content) Please feel free to email me with any questions at noemail@keycon.org. We have both 2D and 3D spaces available.
The early bird prices are as follows: (Note: Panels and tables may be combined to take advantage of our buy 3, get 1 free offer! Oh yeah, all prices are CAD.)
Panels for 2D Artwork: 4' x 4'. $15 ea
Tables for 3D artwork: 1/2 table: $10. Full table: $15.
If you purchase any three display items, you receive a fourth for free!
Please send all mail-in artwork with appropriate funds. Please pay via cheque or money order if mailing in the registration, or use Paypal if you wish to use Visa or Mastercard. American artists please pay via money order in Canadian funds, or via Paypal.
