Calling All Game Masters, Tourament Organisers, and Willing Volunteers
The gamers of winnipeg need your assistance. We here at gaming have heard the cries of the players "We want more games!" and we're going to give it to them. If you are interested in running any sort of gaming event (RPG, CCG, Board, CG, etc...) please e-mail us or stop by the forums and post a message. If you are a player and aren't seeing a particular game you are interested in playing on our game list send us a message and we'll try to find some one interested in running it as an event.
The Sleeping Dragon
The Sleeping Dragon will be back in action for Keycon 2006. Curently going over everything learned from Keycon 2005, many improvements have been planned. Keep an eye on this space for the role the Sleeping Dragon will play in your 2006 gaming schedule.
Gaming Grid
The new and improved, if slightly empty, gaming grid is now here! As you all rush to e-mail, post, and PM your gaming requests in please keep the following information in mind about the amount of space at each of the locations.
Terrace Room Table Groups: Each table group has two or three tables arranged next to, or near, each other. Please let me know how much space you think you will need for your event so that I can work with you to ensure you have enough room. The layout will be similar to last year's events with both round and rectangular tables available the groupings contain tables as follows:
- Table Group 1: Three(3) round tables
- Table Group 2: Two(2) round tables
- Table Group 3: Two(2) round tables
- Table Group 4: Three(3) rectangular tables
- Table Group 5: Two(2) rectangular tables
- Table Group 6: Two(2) rectangular tables
The Sleeping Dragon: A more quite gaming venue mainly reserved for Role Playing Games. Each of the Sleeping Dragon tables is an arrangment of two smaller rectangular tables. The total area is roughly equal to a large dining room table.
The console gaming room is back with a vengance this year. What better way to showcase the next gen consoles than on an eight foot screen? Of course we will have older systems on hand, and if we can get the gear there will be Dance Dance Revolution as well.
