Programming:
Currently we have trivia, cosplay and the social planned! Email programming43@keycon.org if you are interested in running programming at Keycon Lite. We would love some intro to Keycon like panelling and programming welcome for newcomers to give those a taste of Keycon Lite.
Out Of The Closet Cosplay Contest:
Halloween is a time where closet cosplay really comes to light. People spend months leading up to Halloween scavenging thrift stores, modifying their clothes and collecting recycled materials to make their wonderful costumes. We want people to have another chance to show off these skills and express appreciation for closet cosplay as an art. This is why for Keycon Lite we’ll be running the closet/thrifted cosplay contest.
Cipher is collaborating with programming to decide where and when the masquerade will run, but it will very likely be strictly pre-registration. Pre-reg will be an online form that will be released soon. There will be a walk-on section where people with purchased costumes can show themselves off as well as people who didn’t register but want to share their work. If you know anybody who is qualified to be a contest judge please have them contact Cipher at beckp.inbox@gmail.com!
The current working tagline is “Reduce, reuse, reward!”. If you have any input on the functions of the masquerade, what you’d like to see, the tagline or any marketing, etc. please let me know! I love to build off people’s ideas!
Marketplace:
Tables are $25 and are very limited, the Marketplace is open from 11am-6pm. Our Marketplace Coordinator can be contacted at Marketplace43@keycon.org
Gaming:
Game-itoba will be onsite to provide gaming, along with some pickup and play games provided by Keycon. Feel free to bring your own and game with your friends!
Dinner:
Our Dinner will be provided by New Direction’s catering business called Bright Bites, served at 6pm. There will be a choice of vegetarian Lasagna or Shepherd’s Pie
