When we ask what people love about Keycon? Overwhelmingly people say, “the community”. But what does that mean? And how do we show that? So we are introducing our community section, the section for stories, notices and community news, offers of help, etc. Let’s embrace the community and our safe space that is Keycon. Selling and Fundraising will not be permitted on this page but asking for other forms of help is encouraged.
Our Stories

Katie is a Non-Binary late diagnosed Autistic Person who fell in love with Keycon singing Sweet Caroline in the Browncoat Saloon. Even though they tend to stick their foot in their mouth, the community continues to be there for them unconditionally. Since then they have run convention suites with their anime club, and themselves, written a poetry book, briefly ran an anime store, are a crafter, artist, childcare assistant and volunteered for Keycon, joined WinSFA and has been a co-chair now 3 times. Their goal is to make sure Keycon stays alive for the community. If they ever win the lottery they would donate money to Keycon, open their own daycare centre and start a charity for children.
